required This course is designed to provide the RN to BSN student with an introduction to the research process and evidence-based practice. The purpose of the course is to stimulate interest in nursing research; to enable students to understand and judge the usefulness of scientific findings; and to develop an understanding of how clinical proficiency is combined with experimental proof to produce nursing practices based upon evidence.
