NUR 3295 — Critical Care Nursing
Theories and concepts related to complex physiological health alterations in the critically ill patient are presented as a three credit-hour Nursing Elective in the RN-BSN Program. Care of the critically ill patient requires a specialized skill set including cognitive and psychomotor components. Hemodynamic monitoring, trauma, shock & multi-organ failure, myocardial infarction, stroke, and emergency medical services such as rapid response, transport, and support services will be covered.
