MTE 2810C — Motorboat Operations
required This course is designed for students who will be acting as a small vessel (< 26’ in length) operator, by providing fundamental training in boating knowledge and skills. Students will review vessel characteristics, safety regulations, and local knowledge concerning safe boating practices. Students will participate in trailering small vessels, launching and loading at boat ramps, maneuvering underway, and emergency procedures. Upon successful completion of this course, the student may earn a College of the Florida Keys Motorboat Operations Certificate.
