1040C and MEA 1206C or higher and MEA 1232 and MEA 1244C and MEA 1265Cher and MEA 1331C with a minimum grade of C This course is designed to provide medical assistant students with the opportunity to apply theory, clinical, laboratory, and administrative skills in a physician’s office, clinic or outpatient setting. This course provides student with hands-on experience in a physician's office or out- patient clinic, without payment, to demonstrate mastery of required competencies by the American Association of Medical Assistants. The Practicum will provide the medical assistant with ample experience in administrative and clinical skills. All program requirements must be completed successfully, prior to enrolling in the practicum course.
