SON2122 - Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonography II SON2122 - Obstetrics and Gynecology Sonography II It teaches students about instrumentation and scanning technique optimization for pathological findings. Sonographic identification of abnormal fetal growth and development in the first, second and third trimesters, and major congenital abnormalities are also discussed. Students will examine clinical symptoms, relevant laboratory tests and the pathophysiology of pertinent diseases and fetal defects. This course teaches students about sonographic images of pathological states as well as correlation with patient medical history and the findings of other imaging modalities.
