WMT 222 — Advanced Handtools - Joinery
In this course, students will explore advanced topics in woodworking with handtools, specifically, joinery used in furniture construction. Topics will include laying out and creating the following joinery; mortise and tenon (blind, through, and wedged), half lap, and dovetail, among others. The use of handtools to augment machine use is emphasized.
