WGS 250 — Foundations of Feminist, Gender, and Queer Theories
Foundations of feminist, gender, and queer theories is an interdisciplinary course that surveys critical work in the areas of feminist and queer theories. Emphasis will be on intersections of gender, race, nationality, age, sexuality, language, and subcultures; questioning how gender and sexuality are constructed and defined; and exploring the role of institutions in enforcing gender and sexual norms.
