TH 106A — Entertainment Technology Fundamentals
This course introduces the study and execution of technical theater principles. Topics include theater design and technical practices. The course introduces students to the methods and techniques of lighting, sound, staging, set design, scenery, construction, props, costumes, and makeup. Students will learn the technical components of theatrical, presentation, and performance productions. Topics such as trade publications, relevant conventions, and employment opportunities are also discussed.
