MATH 110B — Mathematics for Elementary Teachers

This course is a continuation of MATH 110A . Emphasis will be on problem solving with a focus on making tables and patterning, informal geometry, congruence similarity, constructions, transformations, tessellations, and measurement involving both English and metric units in one, two, and three dimensions. Computer explorations will be integrated into the course. The course will also emphasize hands-on modeling of real-world geometric situations. It meets elementary education credential requirements.
