DH 449 — Principles of Community Oral Health
Intended for students accepted in the Dental Hygiene Baccalaureate Degree Program. This course explores concepts of dental public health including career opportunities for the dental hygienist, community health assessment, oral health status and trends, health care delivery and financing. Emphasis will be placed on public health issues and related research.
