ADN 220 — Nursing Health and Illness Concepts 1
This course focuses on health and illness concepts for care of individuals with common and/or chronic conditions across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on concepts including homeostasis and regulation, protection and movement, oxygenation and hemostasis. Professional nursing concepts include professional attributes and care competencies. Curricular concepts are applied in seminar, lab and clinical settings. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified.
