ADN 210 — Foundational Concepts of Nursing

This course introduces the nursing student to foundational concepts across the lifespan. Principles of safety, care competencies, health care infrastructure, attributes and roles are included. The application of concepts through clinical skills is experienced through seminar, lab and/or clinical settings. Upon completion, students will provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified.
