MUSC 2051 - World Music MUSC 2051 - World Music Hours/Week: Lecture 3 Lab 0 Course Description: This course provides a basic overview of music traditions around the world. The course covers the historical, social, and aesthetic development of music from a variety of cultures. There is particular focus on cultivating critical listening skills while developing a familiarity with the customs and traditions of different peoples.
