HVAC 1069 - Heat Pumps, Chillers and Electric Heat HVAC 1069 - Heat Pumps, Chillers and Electric Heat Hours/Week: Lecture 1 Lab 2 Course Description: This course covers alternate systems used to heat and cool a residence. Topics covered include installation, function, performance, and limitations of these systems. Students will perform basic tests on heating and cooling systems and controls. Commercial chiller and heat pump operations will also be covered. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements.
