HVAC 1067 - Gas Heat HVAC 1067 - Gas Heat Hours/Week: Lecture 2 Lab 4 Course Description: This course covers the fundamentals of gas heat. Topics include gas burners, gas controls, gas ignition, safety, operating controls, service and maintenance on gas furnaces, and combustion efficiency testing procedures. Proper procedures and performance skills for logically troubleshooting a gas heating system will also be covered. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements.
