It is designed to provide emergency responders with an understanding of operating a fire apparatus. This class is designed to meet the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) 1002, Chapters 1, 4, 5, 8 and 10, Standard for Fire Apparatus Driver/Operator Professional Qualifications.
