EMSC 2930 - Community Paramedic Patient Care Experience EMSC 2930 - Community Paramedic Patient Care Experience Hours/Week: Lecture None Lab 14 Course Description: This course is designed to provide the Community Paramedic candidate clinical experience in primary care and other specialties commonly involved in public health and chronic disease management. This course includes 16 hours of simulation time focused on advanced assessment skills and suturing. Students must be able to perform physical tasks to complete course requirements. This course requires Minnesota Human Services and National background studies with no restrictions; current AHA BLS for the Healthcare Provider certification; current State Paramedic certification with 2 years full time experience or equivalent; current healthcare insurance; required immunizations.
