DENH 1050 - Periodontology DENH 1050 - Periodontology Hours/Week: Lecture 2 Course Description: This course focuses on the study of periodontal diseases as the scientific basis for dental hygiene. Course topics include the etiologic factors and abnormal conditions in the supporting structures with an emphasis on the role of the dental hygienist in clinical approaches to periodontal therapy.
