BMGT 2035 - Human Relations in Business BMGT 2035 - Human Relations in Business Hours/Week: Lecture 3 Lab 0 Course Description: This course covers the creation and maintenance of well-managed working relationships in all types of organizations. The course includes a comprehensive discussion of the background and basis for human relations. Three core human relations skills are developed-motivation, leadership and communication. Additional aspects of human behavior in the work environment are explored including team building, the human/technology interface, and managing change. MnTC Goals None develop human resources that enhance the potential for organizational and individual long-term success. provide managerial counseling to troubled workers. resolve work-related conflicts. manage change to benefit the organization and individuals. explain the importance of well-managed relationships at all levels of the organization. analyze individual and group behavior in organizational settings. design jobs using human and/or technology-intensive processes.
