The course presents the basic properties of clay and the techniques that are used to manipulate the medium. In addition, projects explore aspects of three-dimensional design (form, line, plane, volume, mass, space, texture, and color). Course activities focus on various hand-building techniques emphasizing creative problem solving and craft.
