ADCO 2781 - Addiction Counseling Internship I ADCO 2781 - Addiction Counseling Internship I Hours/Week: Lecture 4 Lab 0 Course Description: This is the first internship course in a two-internship sequence. Students will work in a treatment facility to gain work experience integrating the 12 core addiction counseling functions defined by state law in their practicum. Internship I consists of 440 hours of the 880 required by state law. In addition to work experience, students will meet with faculty at assigned times to discuss their internship experiences.
