WR 139 — Introduction to Creative Writing (4 Credits)
Introduces the primary types of creative writing, including poetry, prose fiction, creative nonfiction, and scriptwriting as selected by the instructor. Explores writing practices and reading strategies that help writers study the craft and technique of established writers. Employs workshop structure for writing feedback and analysis. Provides opportunities to write and receive responses in a variety of genres.
