RNSG 2034 — | FAMILY NURSING
This course is designed to prepare the student to provide care for the childbearing client, family and the pediatric client. Emphasis is place on the concepts of normal pregnancy and childbirth, complications in pregnancy and childbirth, oxygenation, sexuality, grief/loss, mood/affect, development, family, health-wellness-illness such as nutrition, patient education, and health promotion, communication, safety, and advocacy. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course. Prerequisite: BIOL 2117, BIOL 2117L, RNSG 1036 Co-requisite: PSYC 2103, RNSG 2032
