PSYC 1101 — Introducto

ry Psychology Learning Support Learning Support courses provide remedial support in reading, language, and math that will aid the student in mastering the skills needed for the chosen program of study. Assignment to Learning Support courses is based on the results of standardized placement tests and the competencies needed for the prospective program of study. Each program of study has established a description of entry-level reading, language, and math competencies. If test scores indicate that the student is not academically prepared to enter a regular program of study, the student may be placed in one or more learning support courses and the study skills seminar (COLL 1500) course.
