Certification Review 2 Total Hours 74 ACCELERATED PHLEBOTOMY TECHNICIAN (AP81) Technical Certificate of Credit Educates students to collect blood and process blood and body fluids. Phlebotomy technicians typically work in concert with clinical laboratory personnel and other healthcare providers in hospitals or other healthcare facilities. This accelerated program would offer a condensed curriculum that covers the fundamental knowledge and techniques of phlebotomy, infection control, and venipuncture procedures. It would also provide hands-on training through clinical rotations and simulations, allowing students to gain practical experience and develop confidence in their abilities.
