Minimum Total Hours 39 ADVANCED CARPENTRY (AB71) Technical Certificate of Credit **EFFECTIVE 202616: PROGRAM NO LONGER OFFERED** Continuing where the carpentry fundamentals certificate ends, this program introduces the student to the more technically advanced carpentry skills. Topics include introduction to the interior finishes and trim, door and window installation, steel framing, and stair finishes. The program emphasizes a combination of carpentry theory and practical application necessary for successful employment. Program graduates have the qualifications of an entry-level finish carpenter. The program uses National Center for Construction Education and Research (NCCER) curriculum which delivers standardized training and credentialing for the industry. Conditional Program Admission: Student must be a graduate of the Carpentry Fundamentals (CF21) program or obtain advisor approval to enroll in this program.
