Minimum Total Hours 73 ELECTROCARDIOGRAPHY TECHNOLOGY (ET81) Technical Certificate of Credit Provides students with the workplace skills necessary to perform and evaluate 12-lead electrocardiographs and telemetry surveillance in hospitals and cardiology offices in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of the heart. Students will be provided an in-depth knowledge of principles, practices, standards, and techniques used in the work place. Students will be able to demonstrate skills in accordance with the policies and procedures in the following areas: basic cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, ECG techniques and recognition, and electrophysiology.
