WLF2202 — Wildand Firefighter Type 1
This certification-related course is designed to meet the training needs of the wildland Firefighter Type 1 (FFT1). This course contains tactical decision scenarios and class discussion related to the following topics: using fireline reference materials, communications, applying standard operating procedures, and tactical decision making. This suppression skills course must be taught to National Wildfire Coordinating Group (NWCG) standards for Firefighter Type 1, to include course management, course content, prerequisites, and instructor qualifications.
