UPH3100 — Manual Cutting
This course introduces a variety of upholstery cutting methods and techniques. Core topics include understanding work order specifications, pattern placement, working with patterns on fabric, fabric characteristics, cutting techniques, proper use of cutting tools, and cutting and sewing simple and complex furniture styles and fabric patterns. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate fabric cutting techniques, sewing awareness and placement of patterns on fabric to industry standards.
