SEFEDUF1 — Intro: Family Childcare Home
Pre-licensing training is required for anyone planning to open a Family Child Care Home (FCCH) in North Carolina. In this class, participants will receive a comprehensive overview of the North Carolina childcare licensing requirements, including health and safety standards, facility setup, and regulatory compliance. This training provides essential guidance and resources to help prospective family childcare home providers successfully navigate the licensing process and prepare for opening their own childcare business. Upon completion, students should be able to design a family childcare handbook that reflects a healthy, respectful, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.
