NUR3247 — RN Refresher
This course is designed to prepare the registered nurse who has been out of nursing for several years to return to work. The main areas of instruction will include: general medical and surgical nursing, new equipment, procedures, charting, documentation, medication, IV therapy, and physician's orders. The course hours are equally divided between classroom and clinical. A textbook is required. Students will be allowed to perform patient care under the direct supervision of the instructor. Students are required to carry liability insurance. PREREQUISITE: Registered nurse with active or inactive license.
