HRD3801 — Evaluating Workplace Benefits
This course equips students with the knowledge to evaluate and make informed decisions about workplace compensation and benefits. Learners will explore common employee benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and professional development incentives. Students will gain the skills to assess total compensation, understand enrollment forms, and align benefit choices with personal financial goals and needs. Learning objectives include: 1) identifying and explaining key components of a total compensation package; 2) comparing health insurance, retirement, and other benefit options; 3) interpreting enrollment forms and employer benefit summaries; and 4) evaluating how benefit choices align with personal and family priorities.
