ETR3871R2 — REAL Entrepreneurship
Correlating instruction developed by the North Carolina Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (NC REAL) program, this course uses hands-on experiential teaching techniques and interactive participation to prepare individuals for planning, opening, and operating a small business. This includes developing self-esteem, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills needed for successful entrepreneurship. Emphasis is placed on market research, financing, time management, and the day-to-day activities of owning and operating a small business. Upon completion students will be able to write and implement a viable business plan required to obtain financing for an enterprise. ***** Required Materials and Supplies: A textbook is required.
