CAR3124C2 — Intro to Construction
This course covers standard and alternative building methods to include wall framing. Topics include safety and footings, foundations, floor framing systems, and wall framing systems commonly used in the construction industry. Upon completion, students should be able to safely erect all framing necessary to begin roof framing. This course is one of four preparing students to earn a CCCC Building Construction Technology Certificate, and complements other construction trades-related Continuing Education courses. This is a parallel course to CST-111 Intro to Construction and is completed in a curriculum environment.
