BAR3100B5 — Barber Apprenticeship III

This course is designed to meet the apprenticeship requirements for a Provisional Licensed Barber by the N.C. Board of Barber Examiners. Course work includes practice in the use of appropriate techniques and materials for individual barbering needs. Students will demonstrate basic skills and knowledge of hair cutting appropriate to barbering standards. Emphasis will be on hair cutting performances and increasing competence in the areas required for barber licensing and employment. Successful completion will prepare students for employment as a Provisional Licensed Barber for the N.C. Division of Prisons.
