This course is designed to provide a basic knowledge of the securities industry. Emphasis is placed on industry terminology, securities products, the structure and function of the markets, regulatory agencies and their function, and regulated and prohibitive practices. Upon completion, students should possess knowledge fundamental to working in the industry and be prepared for entry-level certifications.
