AET3228 — Avionics FCC Preparation
This course introduces students to the study of preparing for the Federal Communications Commission General Radio Telephone License examination. Topics covered include test equipment used in the aviation industry, avionics circuits, troubleshooting techniques, design considerations of aviation transmitters and receivers, and design considerations of aviation antennas. Study includes Federal Communications Commission rules and a review of test taking techniques. Upon completion of this course the student will be able to: conduct computer based studying and testing for the Radio/Telephone FCC GROL License, plus the Ship Radar Endorsement License and successfully test for elements 1, 3 and 8 radar endorsement.
