ESE348 — Methods of Instruction - Mild to Moderate Disabilities
This ESE (Education Special Education) course is designed to provide special education teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement effective individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with mild to moderate disabilities in K-12 settings. This course covers essential components of IEP development including compliance with state regulations and Council for Exceptional Children (CEC) standards. The course will address high school transition planning, behavior intervention plans, accommodations and modifications, specially designed instruction, and Least Restrictive Environment (LRE) to ensure that all students receive a tailored and effective educational experience.
