DWL121 — Drywall Acoustical Ceilings (CE)
This course provides identification of the materials and methods used for acoustical ceilings and drywall installation. Seismic codes, materials, and requirements are also reviewed. Green building rating systems will be applied to selected acoustical and drywall materials. Installation for various grid systems will be discussed. Students will use the skills learned to complete a drywall-acoustical ceiling project. Prerequisites: Program Director Consent, State Indentured Carpenter Apprentice, CRP135 and CRP136.
