DWL111 — Basic Lathing (CE)
This course provides instruction in the identification of materials used and their application for various types of fire rated walls, ceilings and soffits. Methods and procedures are used for layout and template development. Drywall and trim applications are discussed. Tools, safety, and applied math and print reading fundamentals are reviewed. Students will use the skills learned to complete a ceiling and soffit project as part of this course. Prerequisites: Program Director Consent, State Indentured Carpenter Apprentice, CRP135 and CRP136.
