DMS242L — OB/GYN Imaging Laboratory II - High Risk OB
This Laboratory provides hands-on experience to complement the advanced concepts covered in the High-Risk OB lecture course. In this lab, students will practice specialized ultrasound techniques used for high-risk obstetric evaluations, focusing on complex clinical scenarios such as multiple gestations, placental abnormalities, and fetal anomalies. Students will refine their skills in performing detailed fetal anatomy scans and assessing high-risk pregnancies, utilizing advanced imaging tools and Doppler technology. The lab emphasizes the use of specialized ultrasound equipment, allowing students to gain proficiency in handling advanced sonographic procedures while interpreting and recognizing potential complications. With expert supervision, students will enhance their diagnostic abilities, ensuring they are prepared to manage high-risk obstetric cases in a clinical setting. Prerequisites: DMS140; DMS140L.
