MAC 150 - Introduction to Computer-Aided Manufacturing MAC 150 - Introduction to Computer-Aided Manufacturing 3 credits Introduces computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) with emphasis on programming of numerical control machinery. Teaches program writing procedures using proper language and logic and a CAM programming system to produce numerical control code for machines. Teaches basic computer usage, 2 1/2D and 3D CAD-CAM integration and code-to-machine transfer. Lecture: 2 hours. Laboratory: 2 hours. Total: 4 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
