EMS 157 - ALS – Trauma Care EMS 157 - ALS – Trauma Care 3 credits Continues the Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services Intermediate and/or Paramedic curricula. Utilizes techniques which will allow the student to utilize the assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for the trauma patient. Lecture: 2 hours. Laboratory: 2 hours. Total: 4 hours per week.
