CIV 241 - Applied Hydraulics and Drainage I CIV 241 - Applied Hydraulics and Drainage I 3 credits Presents the basic fundamentals of hydrology and hydraulics to the practical problems of drainage design. The use of design aids with supportive theory is stressed to insure an understanding of the background, the theory of development, basic assumptions and limitations of the various methods of estimating storm water run off and hydraulic structure design. Part I of II. Lecture: 3 hours. Total: 3 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
