CIV 175 - Geomatics Laboratory CIV 175 - Geomatics Laboratory 1 credit Teaches use of instrumentation to make basic plane surveying measurements for horizontal, vertical, and angular measurement, and includes construction survey and layout. Focuses on the use of pacing techniques, steel tape, level, and total stations. Laboratory: 3 hours. Total: 3 hours per week. An additional career and technical education course specific fee of $25.00 per credit hour applies to this course. The price is discounted 50% to $12.50 per credit hour for the 2026-27 academic year only.
