MTH 245 — Statistics I. (3 Credits)
Presents an overview of statistics, including descriptive statistics, elementary probability, probability distributions, estimation, hypothesis testing, correlation, and linear regression. Credit will not be awarded for both MTH 155 : Statistical Reasoning and MTH 245 : Statistics I or equivalent. This is a Passport and UCGS transfer course. Lecture 3 hours per week. Total 3 hours per week. Prerequisite: Completion of MTH 154 or MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.
