HOR-245 — Horticultural Specialty Crops

This course introduces the techniques and requirements for the production of horticultural crops of special or local interest. Topics include development of a local market, proper varietal selection, cultural practices, site selection, and harvesting and marketing practices. Upon completion, students should be able to choose, grow, and market a horticultural crop of special or local interest. Some online sections may require proctored exams.
