ASL-181 — ASL Lab 1
This course provides an opportunity to enhance the acquisition of fundamental elements of American Sign Language. Emphasis is placed on the progressive development of basic expressive and receptive skills through the use of supplementary learning media and materials and community engagement. Upon completion, students should be able to comprehend and respond to expressive American Sign Language with grammatical accuracy and demonstrate increased cultural awareness. Online sections are required to meet their ASL instructor each week online, using Adobe Connect. See sections for specific times. The students must have a laptop/desktop computer, high internet connection, and web camera to be in these ASL courses.
