MA 205 - Introduction to Clinical Medical Assisting MA 205 - Introduction to Clinical Medical Assisting Credits - 4 Lecture - 2 Lecture/Lab - 2 This course introduces the student to the skills and responsibilities of the medical assistant in the back office of the clinic setting in the ambulatory care office. Emphasis is placed on safety and privacy, patient care, provider interaction, patient preparations and interventions, initial assessment, and history gathering. A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
