IST112 — Rigging and Lifting
IST 112 - Rigging and Lifting IST 112 - Rigging and Lifting Credits - 3 Lecture/Lab - 3 This class teaches how to safely move loads of different shapes and sizes using a variety of methods. The course includes different types of rigging skills, including equipment movement, wire mesh slings, synthetic slings, knots, load turning, and cranes. Course Designation: C/T Elective - A maximum of 12 credits of college-level career and technical courses may be used as electives in the A.A.O.T. and the A.A.S. degrees.
